FALKEN TIRES SELECTED AS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRE TO ALL-NEW 2018 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS

19 Mar

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – Joining an impressive line-up of Falken products selected as original equipment to automotive manufacturers around the globe, Falken Tires’ SINCERA SN250A All-Season is the latest tire, having been chosen by Mitsubishi Motors as an original equipment supplier for the 2018 Eclipse Cross.

The symmetric, ribbed tread pattern of the SINCERA SN250A A/S is designed to create stiffer grooves that support each other for even wear, prolonging the life of the tire and making the SINCERA a perfect fit for the driver who wants cruising comfort in all weather conditions.

The all-new 2018 Eclipse Cross is the result of Mitsubishi Motors' advanced design philosophy and is distinguished as a fastback crossover due to its sloping roofline. With details crafted for confidence-inspired driving and sharp, sculpted lines that give the new vehicle a strong stance, Mitsubishi Motors expects robust sales.

“This is both an important new category for Falken Tires – the crossover vehicle – and a critical partnership with Mitsubishi Motors,” noted David Colletti, Falken’s Vice President, Original Equipment.

“The new Eclipse Cross offers Super All-Wheel Control, Mitsubishi Motors' advanced all-wheel control system, which helps to ensure stable and responsive handling for all types of roads and driving conditions,” Colletti continued. “Couple that process with Falken’s Dynamic Range Technology featured in our SINCERA SN250A, where our tread rubber remains pliable at low temperatures, increasing grip in wet and snowy conditions through increased amounts of silica, and you have the makings of a very responsive vehicle.

“Additionally, during dry conditions, as the rubber heats up, the chemical bonds remain strong, allowing great handling and excellent treadwear performance,” he added. “Sum it up, we are developing an excellent partnership between Mitsubishi Motors and Falken – in traction, appearance and efficiency.”
